Credibility of sighting the moon of Ramadan by innovators
Assalamu alaikum.Here in S.India where I stay and in major parts of India sighting is always proclaimed by institutions and also witness are Muslims who do Bidaat/wear amulets/even Istigasa etc.Can we start Ramadhan/Eid based on their proclamation?There is no other choice.Is there any evidence in Islam we can accept them?Hope you will give proof.Else.. Thank you for question No. 2104268. You say 'Arafah fast is not linked to a place but time. Could you kindly explain?
