Going for Hajj with a visit visa
Assalam Alaikum, I hope you are fine. I want to ask a question about hajj. As you know now a days its difficult and expensive to go on hajj. I live in Dubai.I have friends in saudi and they can send visit visa of saudi but that visa is valid for all saudi except makkah and is not for hajj, but you can go for hajj by illigel way by road, my question.. Fears to have menses while in the state of Ihraam
I am going to Hajj and I would like to do 'Umrah asI am going to Makkah first for 6 days and after that to Madeenah and then to Mina,Allaah willing. If it happened that I have my period during my staying in Makkah and I already have Ihraam, what should I do as I will not be able to stay longer and I have to go to Medina? Thank yiou.. More

Holding festivals to bid farewell to a pilgrim and to welcome him
Assalaamu Alaikum. In some cultures, gatherings and celebrations are held for Hajjis before leaving to Makkah and when they are received back home. Is it the Sunnah of the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam? What do you think of these traditions? Physically unable to perform Hajj

Wearing socks while in the state of Ihraam

Performing 'Umrah does not make Hajj obligatory on a person
I have performed Umra twice in my life, first in 1988 and then in 2007. Some people say that if one performs Umra once in his life, then the Hajj becomes fardh (compulsory). What would be the case with me as I have performed another Umra after the first one without performing Hajj as I couldn't afford the Hajj and only afforded Umra this time. I do.. More

Protective clothing to avoid cold weather during Ihraam

Lowering the head when entering the Haram Mosque
Why are we asked to lower our heads when we enter through the door of Babus Salaam and not to raise it until we come in view of the Holy Kaaba. This is done when one goes for Hajj or Umra. What is the significance of this? .. More

Giving the value of the sacrifice of Eed Al-Adhha in charity

A pilgrim not spending the night in Mina due to tiredness
