is there any dua to control lazyness? how to get rid from lazyness
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The most important means to overcome laziness include:
First: The Muslim should know that laziness is blameworthy and that he needs the help of Allaah The Almighty to get rid of it. Anas ibn Maalik said, "The Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to seek refuge in Allaah, saying: 'O Allaah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, cowardice, senility and stinginess.'" [Al-Bukhari]
Second: saying, "Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billaah (there is no power and no strength save in Allaah)" very often. Haazim ibn Harmalah said, "I passed by the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, and he said to me: 'O Haazim, say, 'Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billaah,' very often, for it is one of the treasures of Paradise.'" [At-Tirmithi]
Third: Doing many good deeds because obeying Allaah The Almighty has a great impact on increasing the strength of the body. On the other hand, one should avoid evil deeds because they negatively affect the body. Ibn ‘Abbaas was reported to have said, "The good deed results in illumination in the face, light in the heart, strength in the body, abundance in sustenance and love in the hearts of people. The bad deed results in darkness in the face, darkness in the heart, weakness in the body, shortage of sustenance and hatred in the hearts of people.”
Fourth: The Muslim should know that time is a blessing and he has to utilize it in what is useful. It was narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss: health and free time." [Al-Bukhari]
