Fatwa Center'Aqeeqah should be performed on the 7th day or on the 14th day or on the 21th day'
Question
As Salam Alaykum.
Let me know the authenticity of the following Ahadeeth.
1. Prophet Sallalahu alayhi wa sallam Said " Doing treatment without knowledge and experience, so you will be questioned for it ? " Reference Abu Dawood 4586.
2. Prophet Sallalahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Aqiqah should be performed on the seventh day or on the fourteenth day or on twenty-first day after birth of a child". Reference Baihaqi.....I have that this hadeeth is weak.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The first Hadeeth was reported by Abu Daawood, An-Nasaa’i, and Ibn Maajah from ‘Amr Ibn Shu’ayb from his father from his grandfather (‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Amr ibn Al-‘Aas 
), and Shaykh Al-Albaani 
classified its chain of narrators as Hasan [good] in “Saheeh Sunan Abi Daawood”, number 4586.
As regards the second Hadeeth, it was reported by At-Tabaraani in “Al-Awsat”, and by Al-Bayhaqi in his “Sunan” from Buraydah (Ibn Al-Husayb) . Shaykh Al-Albaani classified its chain of narrators as Saheeh [authentic] in “Saheeh Al-Jaami’”, number 4132.
