Question
A person Is addicted to pornography and Masturbation, He Became Victom of Whispers about Allah , prophet PBUH and Prophet PBUH family. While watching Porn And Masturbating he Feels bad Whisper About Above mentioned Personalities. He sometimes Gets Illusion That he is doing This By himself. Evrytime he masturbates while watching porn , he feel whispers about above Holy . .. After then He repents not To watch porn and Masturbate then Agains do it. This happened him for Ten Times. SOMETIMES he thinks he Z intentionally doing and imaginating. What shout he do in Such cases
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
This person should hasten to sincerely repent from watching pornographic images and masturbating; both are forbidden and incur grave evils and consequences, as underlined in Fataawa 83829 and 81150, in which we have highlighted the treatment for masturbation.
The conditions of a sincere repentance have been explained in Fatwa 86527. If the repentant person fulfilled these due conditions, but got weak later on and committed the sin again, he should renew his repentance, fulfilling the due conditions of sincere repentance. He should not despair of the mercy of Allaah or lose hope.
In fact, committing sins may be the root of all evil and tribulations as well as a means by which the devil can control and dominate the sinner in a way that that would not cross his mind, and this can cause grave evils and consequences that are inconceivable to people. Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement?}[Quran 19:83] Quranic commentators explained the verse as follows: “The Devil annoyingly urges them to commit sins.”
Moreover, one should repel such satanic whispers and should not pay any attention to them, not to mention, preoccupy oneself with thoughts of them. These whispers are from the devil; so one should seek refuge with Allaah from the devil and thank Allaah for reducing his evil plans to mere whispers.
