Question
Has the Antichrist been imprisoned on an island? Did the Sahaabah (Companions), may Allaah be pleased with them, find him and ask the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, about him? Will the Antichrist appear after Lake Tabariyyah has dried up?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
The Hadeeth you mentioned is Saheeh (Authentic), and it was narrated by Imaam Muslim 
narrated.
In this Hadeeth, the Antichrist told the Companions 
that Lake Tabariyyah will soon dry up. [Muslim] However, Lake Tabariyyah will dry up after the Antichrist's death and the first rows of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj (Gog and Magog) will drink its water.
In another Hadeeth it is narrated that after ‘Eesa (Jesus) 
has killed the Antichrist, Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj will pass by Lake Tabariyyah and drink up its water. [Muslim]
