I have seen a very strange hadith on a website regarding propaganda against Islam, and this hadith is mentioned there as a reference. Can you please check that hadith and tell me about the level of its authenticity is as I do not have a Hadith book at hand? “A woman is deprived of the possession of her own body in many ways, even her milk belongs to her husband.” (Bukhari, Vol. 7, p. 27) Maybe the reference is not correct. Could you please check it? Is there any hadith like that in Bukhari?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
There is no hadeeth in Saheeh Al-Bukhari with this meaning. In fact, there is no hadeeth in any of the reliable Hadeeth books to this effect. It is not strange that the enemies of Islam would lie about the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, and attribute false statements to him, as there is no fear of Allah in their hearts that deters them from lying. There are stern warnings against lying about Allah and the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, in the Quran and the Sunnah.
Allah, The Exalted, says (what means): {They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars.} [Quran 16:105]
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said, “Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hellfire.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Islam holds women in a remarkably refined status and does not undermine the woman's position in the slightest. The Islamic Sharia honored the woman as a mother, wife, and daughter and gave her rights. In Islam, women are the counterparts of men and their roles complete each other. Each of them has due rights over the other. Please, refer to fatwas 81237, 85308, 88304 and 83157.
You must keep in mind that visiting such websites poses a danger to the Muslim. Only the Muslim who has strong faith and sufficient religious knowledge to such an extent that they shield him from misconceptions may visit them.
Allah knows best.
