Question
Can Muslims visit a Church to see the American culture, only seeing the Church as a museum?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
It is not permissible to go to a church for a religious belief, or to participate with the Christians in their feasts or rituals, or to increase their number at the time of their gatherings in it. However, if going there is free from what is mentioned, then it is not forbidden; rather, it is permissible like going for visiting.
