Question
How can we succeed?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Real success is to be admitted to Paradise and saved from Hell-fire. Allah Says (what means): {And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).} [Quran 3:185]
This success cannot be achieved except by obeying Allah and His Prophet . Allah Says (what means): {And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger () he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).} [Quran 33:71]
So if a person wants to succeed, he has to obey Allah and obey His Prophet . This is to believe in Allah and abide by His Legislation (Sharee’ah), to fulfill the commandments of Allah revealed in His book and in the Sunnah of His Prophet and to refrain from indulging in His Prohibitions.
This is the path to success. No one will succeed except by treading this path and holding tight to it, and whoever thinks that success can be found in other paths will be among the losers in this world and in the Hereafter.
