Question
Is it allowed for a brother to organise I talk and the speaker is a sister or allow the sister to present the speaker which could be a brother. the issue is on women in Islam but the sister is talking to every on (brothers and sister) including non-Muslims in term of her experience not giving fatwa?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The scholars 
differed in opinion whether or not the voice of a woman is forbidden for men to listen to. The view we adopt in Islamweb is that, in principle, it is not forbidden for men to listen to the voice of a woman if it does not lead to temptation and provided the following conditions are met:

She is conveying virtue

She does not speak softly
-
She does not use obscene language
-
She speaks for a need, like during studying, asking a question, and the like.
Therefore, if the female speaker is listened to by men, and her voice does not lead them to be tempted by her, and she adheres to the Hijab, and there is no mixing at the place of the lecture area, then this is permissible.
However, it is difficult to achieve these conditions especially with the presence of non-Muslims, because their hearts are impure since they are addicted to fulfilling their forbidden desires.
Undoubtedly, showing the status of women in Islam is very important, however, if all the audience, or most of them, are men, then it is more appropriate for a man to deliver the lecture . On the other hand, if all the audience are women, then it is more appropriate for a woman to do so. This is better for the purity of one's heart and it is far from suspicion specially that we live in a time when misconceptions are widespread and most people have impure hearts. Indeed, it is better to be safe than sorry.
