If a woman needs to go out of her home, she must observe the religious requirements, among which is to avoid the places where men and women mix together, like in the means of transportation. Hence, she is obliged to use another means of transportation where men and women are not mixed. If she does not find any and she must go out, it is permissible for her to travel using these means of transportation and she should fear Allaah as much as she can; she should avoid touching men or sitting next to them, and so forth.
