All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
We have not come across a Hadeeth with this wording neither in “Kanz- ul-’Ummaal” nor in any other books that we have at hand.
However, underneath the number which you referred to in the question in “Kanz-ul-’Ummaal” there is a Hadeeth with the wording: “The black seed is a cure for every disease except death.” This Hadeeth is stated by Ibn As-Sunni in the Book “At-Tibb” and by Abdul-Ghani in “Al-Eedhaah”, and it was narrated by Buraydah . Indeed, there is an authentic Hadeeth about the black seed and it was reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim .
Nonetheless, if the people of experience confirm that orange strengthens the heart, then it is permissible to use it for this effect.
Furthermore, there is a Hadeeth about quince that it removes the darkness of the heart, and this is reported by Al-Haakim, At-Tabaraani, Abu Nua’ym and Ibn As-Sunni . However, it was classified by the scholars as weak. Rather, Al-Bayrooti stated that the totality of what is mentioned in this Hadeeth is fabricated.
To conclude, it should be mentioned that it is the people of experience that should determine the benefits of fruits as we have already mentioned.
