All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
We have not come across this narration in the books of Sunnah that we have. It seems that the questioner combined two narrations in one.
The first narration was narrated on the authority of Naheek Ibn Sareem As-Sakooni that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that the Muslims would fight the polytheists. The Muslims who survive after the battle will fight the Antichrist around the Jordan River: the Muslims will be on the eastern bank, while the disbelievers will be on the western bank. [At-Tabaraani and Al-Bazzaar]
The second narration was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that the Hour will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and the stones will call a Muslim to come and kill the Jew hiding behind it. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
The first Hadeeth informs us that the Muslims will fight the polytheists in general in this place. The second narration informs us that the Muslims will fight the Jews without the mention of a specific place for battle.
It is not necessary for the two narrations to be connected. Making a connection between the two narrations requires evidence to affirm this connection, which is not available.
