All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

However, if the matter is free from wrong notions and beliefs, and it is based on particular benefits that are based on something tangible or experience, like the advantage of ventilation of air or access to sunlight (into the house, rooms), then it is permissible to do so.
