Question:

a man was married to his bhatiji and now his daughter is going to marry another uncles son so is it allowed to attend that marriage by other relatives

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

Regarding this girl marrying the son of her paternal uncle, then such is a valid marriage. There is nothing wrong with attending this marriage, as long as there are no violations involved that prohibit attending it. This pertains to the main question asked.

As for what was mentioned about that man marrying his brother’s daughter, then this is a grave sin, as that means he married one of his Mahram (unmarriageable) women. He must sincerely repent to Allaah and he must part ways with her immediately. It is not allowed for him to be intimate with her. You can find the conditions of repentance in Fatwa 86527. For more information about those who are forbidden for marriage, please refer to Fatwa 85868.

If he held the belief that this marriage was valid, then the child resulting from that marriage is attributed to him. The jurists stipulated that every marriage the husband believed to be valid gives him his right to the child. But if he was aware of its prohibition, then the child is not attributed to him. Instead, it is an illegitimate child and its lineage goes to the mother. For details, please refer to Fataawa 89967 and 89082.

Allaah Knows best.
