Impermissibility to write reports that support Riba

Question:

I work in an office for architectural studies. My employer asked me to write reports to some people so that they can use them to receive interest loans from banks. Am I committing a sin if I write these reports?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

It is impermissible to write these reports if they are directly relevant to Riba because this is considered one of the means of cooperating in sin and aggression. Allaah Almighty Forbade such cooperation. Allaah Almighty Says (what means): {But do not cooperate in sin and aggression} [Quran 5:2] However, if these reports are not relevant to Riba, then it is permissible to write them.
