All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, we thank and praise Allah Who guided you to Islam and we ask Him to make you firm and steadfast on His Religion until the Day you meet Him.
We advise you to seek beneficial knowledge, perform good deeds and befriend righteous and pious women, as these are the best things that help a Muslim remain steadfast on their religion.
Regarding you staying alone without your husband; it is the woman’s right upon her husband that he should not be absent from her for more than six months without her permission without a legitimate excuse. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 85711.
Whenever it is possible for both spouses to live together in one country, then that is better for them and for their children. The husband keeps himself chaste and keeps his wife chaste [by satisfying her sexual desires]; and both would cooperate in raising and guiding their children. Hence, we advise you to have a mutual understanding with your husband in light of what we have mentioned.
As regards your daughter, there is no doubt that both of you are keen on doing what is in her interest, and what we know is that residing in non-Muslim countries is dangerous to the children’s faith and morals. Parental authority over their children is very weak (and might even be non-existing) because the laws contribute to that.
Since this is the case, then this matter should be taken into consideration and both spouses should have a mutual understanding about this as a way of achieving the Islamic benefits.
The religion of the Muslim is the most precious thing he has, because the happiness of this worldly life and the Hereafter depend on it.
Allah knows best.
