All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, we ask Allah for a speedy recovery for you from the whispers and doubts that you are affected with, and we advise you to supplicate Allah earnestly to make a way out to all your complaints. We also advise you to avoid whispers and not pay any attention to them, as this is the beneficial treatment for them.
What you doubt about from these matters and are not certain of, then just ignore them and do not pay any attention to them.
A similar complaint was raised to the Prophet that one imagined to have passed wind in the prayer; thereupon, the Prophet said: “He should not turn away unless he hears a sound or smells something.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Ash-Shawkani said in Nayl Al-Awtar:
“The Hadeeth is evidence that one has to repel the doubts that he has during the prayer, and that the Prophet considered the whispers as beautification from Satan [to lure and distract the person] and that one does not move from one state to another [from purity to impurity / or from the prayer to coming out of the prayer] except if there is a sound reason that one is certain of, such as hearing a sound, smelling the wind, and seeing the excrement. An-Nawawi said when explaining Saheeh Muslim: “This Hadeeth is one of the principles of Islam, and one of the great juristic rules; i.e., things are judged to remain in their original state until otherwise is certain, and the occurring of doubt does not harm.” [End of quote]
But if you hear the sound of wind or smell it with a certainty upon which you can swear, then the prayer is invalidated if you are praying, and the ablution is also invalidated if you have performed ablution. As for mere doubt, then do not pay attention to it.
For more benefit that doubting the nullification of Tahaarah does not nullify ablution, please refer to Fatwa 31363.
For more benefit on the prayer of a person suffering from wind incontinence, please refer to Fatawa 335023, 380521, 380305, and 361699.
Allah knows best.
