All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The ruling on threefold divorce differs according to the wording uttered by the husband. In some cases, if there is repetition, it requires knowing the husband's intention by his repetition.
You did not mention in your question the wording uttered by your husband, so it is better for him to personally consult a scholar so he could explain to him the truth of what he said, or he may address an Islamic center on the issue.
We point out that the most correct opinion in our view is that anger does not prevent divorce from taking place, unless the husband is not aware of what he says due to extreme anger.
One should beware of anger, as it leads to much evil and regretful consequences. This is why the Prophet, sallallaahu`alayhi wa sallam, has warned against it.
Allah knows best.
