All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The parents should not be obeyed concerning preventing their daughter from talking to her husband, as the scholars stated that obeying parents is not obligatory in the absolute sense, but it is restricted to things that involve benefit to them without harming the child. You may try to convince them first in order to avoid stirring their anger, and you may seek help from some people close to them. If they are convinced, then all praise be to Allah; otherwise, there is no problem if the daughter talks to her husband, as we mentioned before. It is better that she talks to her husband without her parents’ knowledge so that she fulfills her purpose of talking to him, and at the same time, she avoids her parents’ anger. In this way, she will combine both interests.
Allah knows best.
