All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
There are many acts by which one may repel evil eye and envy among which are the following:
1- A person should believe that what has passed him by was not to befall him and what has befallen him was not to pass him by. He should believe that all the matters are in the Hands of Allah. If he strongly believes in this, he would fully rely on Allah, seek His Help, and His Refuge.
2- Regularly reciting the morning and evening mention of Allah.
3- Being in the state of ablution as much as possible.
4- Reciting the Quran frequently.
5- Exalting the mention of the Prophet as much as possible [which is saying: Allahumma Sali ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala …….]
6- Supplicating with the authentic and confirmed supplications from the Prophet such as: أَعـوذُبِكَلِمـاتِ اللّهِ التّـامّـاتِ مِنْ شَـرِّ ما خَلَـق.)-
- [A’oothu bikalimaatil Allaah At-taammati min sharri ma khalaq. (three times in the evening).] (I take refuge in Allah’s perfect words from the evil He has created.) [three times in the evening]
- أَعُوذُ بعزة اللهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مَنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ. (سبع مرات)
- A'oothu Bi'izzati Allaah Wa Qudratih Min Sharri Ma ajid wa Ohaathir (I take refuge in Allaah’s Glory and within His Omnipotence from the evil that I feel and am wary of.) [seven times]
- Hasbiya Allaahu laa ilaaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul ‘Arshil-‘atheem (seven times morning & evening)
(Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is the Lord of the Exalted Throne.) (seven times in the morning and in the evening)
لَا حَوٍلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللهِ.
Saying: “La hawla wala quwwata illa billah” (There is neither might nor power except with Allah.) as much as possible
7- Frequently reciting the legislated supplications before going to bed and after waking up.
8- Performing Ruqyah: which is reciting Al-Faatihah (the Opening Chapter of the Quran), verse 255 from Chapter Al-Baqarah [Quran 2], verse 285 and 286 from Chapter Al-Baqarah [Quran 2], Chapters 112, 113, 114, the first verses of Chapter As-Saaffat [Quran 37] and any other Chapters from the Quran.
Allah knows best.
