All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
If there is a reason for performing prayers after praying Witr prayer, such as making up missed prayers, or prayers of salutation to the mosque, or prayers after one performs ablution, and so on, then performing these prayers is permissible. If there is no reason for performing prayers and a person wants to perform general voluntary prayers, it is also permissible, but initially one should not intend to perform them after Witr prayer. If it happens without previous intention, such as one sleeps after performing Witr prayer and then wakes up and wants to perform voluntary prayers, then, in this case, doing so is permissible. Intentionally performing prayers after Witr prayer is dislikable since the Prophet said: “You should make the Witr the last prayer of your night.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
However, one should not repeat Witr prayer, for the Hadeeth of the Prophet who said: “No two Witr prayers are to be performed in one night.” [Al-Tirmithi]
