Inquiring about the faith of a professor

Question:

What do you think about Seyyed Hossein Nasr, University Professor of Islamic Studies at George Washington University and his opinions on Islamic doctrines of cosmology?
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and  Messenger.

We do not know the person you are asking about. Know that examining Muslim's faith is not permissible. Basically, the faith of a Muslim is considered correct unless we observe something in his words or actions contradict to the Islamic faith.
