Slaughtering in a name other than Allah

Question:

Is it permissible to eat the meat slaughtered by one who mentions Ali 's name at the time of slaughtering?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

It is Haram to eat animals slaughtered by one who believes that the Qur'an is distorted or curses the Prophet's (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) companions, or believes that Jibreel (Alaihi As-Salaam) did a mistake while conveying the Divine Mission to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) or thinks of infallibility and holiness of their leaders. Such a person is not a Muslim, nor a follower of the previous books (Jew, Christian), whether he mentions Allah's Name while slaughtering or not. If he does not have any of the above-mentioned attributes and he slaughters the animal according to Sharia, then there will be no harm to eat such slaughtered animals. But, if he mentions the name of Ali instead of Allah, it becomes Haram to eat such meat.
However, we advise the inquirer to do his best to avoid arousing people and provoking disorders, since such things bring only harm to Muslims. So, it is better to behave with wisdom.
Allah knows best.
