HIV positive persons want to wed

Question:

Is a man who is HIV positive and wants to a lady who is also HIV positive allowed to according to Islamic law?

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. There is no objection if the man marries the woman as long as each of them tells his or her partner that he or she is carrying the disease and as long as trustworthy medical doctors have confirmed such a marriage will not cause any of them additional harm. Allah knows best.
