All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
This is not correct. The woman during her menses can have a bath (or shower), even if there is no evidence about this. Having a bath is among the customs and in principle this is permissible, let alone when there is an evidence. Ibn Maajah reported that 'Aa'ishah narrated that the Prophet told her when she wanted to wear the Iharaam for Hajj (pilgrimage) and she was in menses: ''Undo your braids and have a Ghusl (ritual bath)." Al-Albaani classified this narration as authentic.
Allaah knows best.
