Removing the hair between the eyebrow and the eye

Question:
I have a question about removing the extra hair of the eye brow, I know that "Nams" is Haraam, but what is Namas? Is it removing the whole eye brow, or changing its shape. What I am asking about is what about removing those extra little hair under the eye brow, the ones that grow individually alone, between the eye brow and the eye. Is it Haraam too?
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
'Nams' means plucking the eyebrows or some hair of the eyebrows. Nonetheless, if the hair of the eyebrows extends [to unusual places] or it appears as a deformation to the creation, then there is no harm in removing what is beyond the normal size of the eyebrows. As regards other hair than the hair of the eyebrows, the Islamic Law kept silent about it, so there is no harm in taking it off. It is confirmed that 'Aa'ishah gave a Fatwa as to the permissibility of removing the hair of the forehead. For more details please refer to Fataawa 84865 and 83929.
Allaah Knows best.
