All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
The prayer of this person is correct and there is no harm on him for prostrating on one or two hairs of his head as long as some of his forehead is on the floor. However, the majority of the scholars are of the view that the prayer of a person who prostrates on a part of his turban and the like is valid. Anas narrated: "We used to perform the prayer with the Prophet at times when it was extremely hot, so whenever one of us was unable to put his forehead on the ground, he would spread his garment and prostrate on it." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Allaah Knows best.
