Dandruff does not affect the validity of Ghusl

Question:

Does dandruff affect the validity of Ghusl (ritual bath) as it is difficult to completely get rid of it even when using shampoo?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

What is an obligation in Ghusl is that water should reach the roots of the hair, i.e. the skin on which the hair grows, and dandruff is from that skin, so it does not affect the validity of Ghusl (ritual bath).
