She thinks her husband is under the influence of magic

Question:
My husband and I have been married its been a year. My husband went against his mum to marry me. We have been happly married and have had no toruble. Recently my husband kept on getting realy angry with me and he would end up hitting for no reason. any little thing would provoke him. My husband is not the type to hit a women. He also has been acting weird in the sense that he would react like a little child: ie he would break down and say things like why you being horrable to me. I have never seen my husband like this before. Its like his got split personalities. I have always tried to be a good wife and have done everything in my ability to keep him happy. Two weeks ago, he packed his bag and went missing, i later located him to be at his mums house. I tried to make several contact with my husband but my inlaws will not allow me to talk to him. My husband says he cant think or feel anything for me and he doesnt remember being with me. I have been erased out of his memory. I am also 3 mnths pregnant and he doesnt care bout the baby. My husband used to love me alot and i meant everything to him. I then spoke to my imam about it and he told me that his some one has done blackmagic on him so that he goes back home and forgets me. I dont knw wat to do. I do believe that black magic exist but i dont knw what i can do to help my husband. I am a regular prayer and strong faith in allah, but how can i reverse whats been done? what can i do? Who can i go to? Please help me.
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
A husband leaving his wife could be due to normal reasons. These reasons might have been caused by the husband or the wife, or by both of them. Therefore, one should try to find out the reason and each of the spouses should be frank to the other while seeking to reconcile, as reconciliation is good for the family. Moreover, you should avoid separation as separation has always bad consequences.
Hence, we advise you to find out the reasons and try to find a way to sit with your husband. Each one of you should try to solve the part of the problem which is caused by him. If it is not possible to sit with your husband to discuss this matter, then you should appoint a group of pious and rational people from your family (or others) in order to discuss the matter with him or appoint some pious and rational people from his family so that they may try to convince him. If the problem is solved, then this is what is sought. However, if the efforts of reconciliation are of no avail and you predominantly think that the reason could be magic, then you should try to convince him to seek treatment. Nonetheless, you should not forget to earnestly ask Allaah so that He may reconcile between you; indeed there is much good in supplications.
Ultimately, if the problem is not solved and you fear to be harmed by staying in this condition, then it is permissible for you to ask him to divorce you. If he accepts and divorces you, then this is what is required, otherwise you may take the matter to an Islamic centre so that they would study the matter and remove the harm off you (by divorcing you from him).
