All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
If you are referring to the moustache, then we have already issued Fatwa 88747 clarifying that it is permissible for a woman to remove such hair, so please refer to the above Fatwa.
As regards applying perfume in a way that (marriageable) men may smell it, then this is not permissible, and saying that it might only be smelt if a man is at a very short distance from the woman, then this does not change the ruling. The evidence about this is that the Prophet said: "Any woman who applies perfume and passes by a group of people who may smell her perfume, is an adulterous woman." [Ahmad and An-Nasaa'i]
However, a woman may use unscented deodorant to remove bad smells from her body. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 84119.
