The first person to translate the Quran into Persian

Question:

AA, in a book I am reading about Salman Al-Farisi, it says he was the first one to translate the Quran into Persian. Is this true? JAK
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

 

We have not come across any evidence in the books of the scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them proving that Salmaan Al-Faarisi may Allaah be pleased with him was the first person to translate the Quran into Persian.
