All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
There is no Hadeeth with the meaning mentioned in the question.
Allaah Almighty created the earth for the benefit of all the children of Aadam, as He Says (what means): {It is He who created for you all of that which is on earth} [Quran 2:29], meaning, for the benefit of all people and not only the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam .
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, lived for a period of time then passed away, and had Allaah created the earth exclusively for the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, it would have been pointless to create it before him and make it last after his death.
As for the ‘Hadeeth’ that some people repeat, "Had it not been for you (O Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) I (i.e. Allaah) would never have created the universe," then this is baseless and an egregious exaggeration.
Regarding what the questioner mentioned, “If He (Allaah) was not forced, he would not have caused Muhammad, (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), to be born,” then if by 'born' you mean the creation of Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, then this is egregious speech and not befitting to use when referring to Allaah Almighty, as none can force or oblige Him, the Most Exalted, to do anything against His Will. So, the questioner must beware of using such words.
Allaah Knows best.
