HIGHLIGHTS: Palestinian Resistance Fires at Occupation Troops Near Jerusalem, in the West Bank & Gaza While Hizbollah Fires at Israeli Jets in the North||Four Palestinians Arrested Near Hebron Overnight||Israeli Leaders Fault Almost Everybody But Themselves|| STORY: As Israelis woke up again at the shock of a devastating bus blast this time in Southern Jerusalem, they also found that their occupation troops are under Resistance gunfire in at least four Localities.

Palestinian Resistance men near the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras el-Amud fired upon a so-called border police jeep. No injuries or damage was reported. Occupation authorities believe the gunfire came from Abu Dis, an area under partial Palestinian control.

In another Palestinian gunfire attack a settler motorist traveling near the northern internationally illegal West Bank settlement of Ganim on Tuesday.

There were no injuries in the attack, according to Israeli media reports.

In the third incident of its kind, an Israeli army occupation tank ran over a landmine at another internationally illegal settlement at Gush Katif in the southern Gaza Strip also Tuesday.

The crew was uninjured in the blast, occupation army Radio claimed.

Also at Gush Katif, a mortar shell struck near a bus stop Tuesday morning, lightly injuring an occupation soldier, according to Israel Radio reports.

FOUR PALESTINIANS ARRESTED NEAR HEBRON OVERNIGHT

Occupation army forces meanwhile arrested four Palestinians in the Hebron vicinity overnight.

One so-called wanted man was detained in the village of Bani Naim, south of Kiryat Arba, and three others were arrested in Kfar Hares, north west of the city, according to occupation army Radio.

HIZBOLLAH FIRES AT ISRAELI OCCUPATION ARMY JETS

In the North, Hizbollah Resistance men fired anti-aircraft shells at Israeli occupation army jets in the Galilee panhandle earlier Tuesday.

There were no injuries or damage in the shelling, according to Israeli media reports.

ISRAELI LEADERS ADMIT THEY ARE PAYING A HEAVY PRICE

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon went immediately to the site of the attack and, not far from where the bodies of 16 Israelis were laying on the sidewalk in black nylon sacks as a result of a Palestinian Resistance bombing attack.

This was the first time Sharon went to the site of an attack immediately afterward, and saw close up the bodies on the pavement, and the shell of the burned-out bus.

He arrived on the scene, protected by a large security detail, about an hour after the attack.

After being briefed by security officials at the scene, he spoke briefly to the press. He was accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers and Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert who said he could not guarantee, "that tomorrow it won't happen again."

Sharon is expected to hold security consultations this morning to consider Israel's response to the latest attack.

Foreign Minister Shimon Peres cut short his visit to Bulgaria and is expected to return Tuesday evening.

The attack comes as Jerusalem is waiting for President George W. Bush's policy speech on the Middle East. Speculation has been rife that one of the ideas Bush may raise is a "provisional" Palestinian state.
