Qunut during Ramadan
I heard that if you do not make Qunoot (du'a) either in the last rak'a of Taraweeh or in salat alwitr every night of Ramadan you are required to make sujood al-Shuoo, is that true?.. More

Prayed all day then realized he had a wet dream earlier

Men praying with pants below the ankle
While I was praying at a Masjid a brother stopped me and said that one must have clothes (pants/ Arabic dress, pajamas etc.) above the ankle. In-other words men should not cover their ankle while praying. As a result I fold my pants above the ankle and perform my Salat. Please comment. .. More

Proper way to recite during prayer, and shaving the head during Hajj and Umrah
1. I pray Isha Salah at home. In the first 2 Rak'ah of the fard prayer I recite Surah mulk, half in 1st rakah and half in 2nd. Then in the last 2 Rak'ah I only recite Fatihah. Is this ok? Are there any restrictions to the number of A'yats recited in the fard prayer, and does the same apply for the other 4 prayers or are there recommended lengths.. More

Reciting Tashahud and Ibrahimic prayer in English
My wife is a new convert to Islam. During the Salat, we were reading the Ibrahimic prayer and the greeting in English to make it easy for her to understand. We still recite the Qur'an in Arabic. Is it ok to say the Ibrahimic prayer and the greeting in English during the Salah?

Confused about the correctness of his prayer
One day I was performing Fajr prayer together with some brothers, and I follow the Hanafi Madhab; however, about 2/3 hours later, it went through my mind that I made a wrong Niyyah. Closing One’s Eyes in Prayer
I am non-Arabic Muslim when I pray Salat in Arabic I also think of the translation, so that the words coming from my mouth have meaning to me. To concentrate in Salat and remember translation I close my eyes. Some say it is not good to close your eyes when praying Salat. Please Advise.

Loses concentration while praying
I pray five times a day regularly behind the Imam in the mosque.
