These two Fataawa about illegitimate children are not contradictory

Adopted his brother's daughter and forbids her relatives from seeing her
MY BROTHER ADOPTED MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE HE HAS NO ISSUE. HE WRITE HIS NAME AS FATHER FOR WHICH I TOLD HIM THAT THIS IS NOT ALLOWED IN ISLAM AND HARAM BUT DID NOT CARE. Wants to prevent her ex-husband from seeing his children

Tracing a baby back to his/her grandfather from the side of his/her mother
