Throwing paper with probable part of hadeeth on it
Assalaamu alaykum. I had a leaflet that had this line in the bottom: "Anything that goes against your heart is sin." It was written in English. I know that there is a hadith with the same meaning, but the wording is not exactly like this. In any case, I needed to get rid of the paper since I was going somewhere, so I threw it away. Translating the Prophetic Hadeeth into other languages
Assalamu Alaikum WaRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh I understand that the Quran can only be understood correctly in Arabic as it is the word of Allah and so if it is translated than we would lose the divine impact of the words/meanings? Is the same to be said for the authentic Hadeeth in that they can't be translated either and have to be understood directly.. More
